Igor Butman

      Igor Butman studied saxophone at music college n.a. Musorgsky, his brilliant teacher was Gennady Goldstein. As a student Igor played in David Goloshekin's ensemble and at the same time participated in Sergey Kurekhin's "Popular Mechanic" concerts and records, as well as in "Kino's" and "Aquarium's".
      In 1983 he performed in Oleg Lundstrem's orchestra - the best orchestra in the USSR. Already in the former USSR Igor butman was invited to play with touring American musicians: Dave Brubeck, Chic Coriey, Pat Matini, Harry Berton, Luis Bellson and Grover Washington.
      In March 1999 Igor Butman founded a jazz orchestra All Star Big Band, with the best musicians from Moscow and Russia.
