Show-theatre "Tum-balalaika"


      "Tum-Balalaika" is a blend of musical and dramatic interlude. Its sources are in Yiddish folklore since antiquity till nowadays. This show-theatre's songs tell about the national character, customs and traditions of the Jewish people. The troupe consists of unique gifted actors. The actors sing in English, Hebrew, Yiddish and Russian.
      The theatre's Artistic director People's artist of Russia Michael Gluz is a well-known composer, excellent arranger and wonderful performer. He offers his view on the Jewish musical heritage and gives contemporary sound to old melodies and rhythms, actually reviving them.
      "Tum-Balalaika" successfully performed in the USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Israel, France, Holland, Belgium and many other countries.
