In 1983 Mark Rozovsky established a theatre "At Nikitskie Vorota", which works up to present time under his direction.
The theatre's repertoire includes more than 25 plays. It toured with customary "sold outs" around Russia, as well as Sweden, Denmark, Finland, USA, Germany, Israel, France, etc.
Mark Rozovsky is a director and dramaturge. He staged in MHAT, Big Drama theatre in Leningrad, Riga Theatre of Russian Drama, Opera and Ballet theatre n.a. Kirov ("Mariinka"), in Academic theatre n.a. Pushkin ("Alexandrinka"), Theatre
n.a. Lensovet in Leningrad, Theatre n.a. Mayakovsky, State Puppet Theatre n.a. Obraztsov, in Poland in Vrotslava, in cinematography and shows. In 1975 he staged the first rock-opera in the USSR "Orpheus and Euridica".
Author of books about the theatre: "Director of a Show", "Self-return", "Transformation", "Theatre From Nothing", "Reading "Uncle Vanya". Author of plays: "Red Corner", "Visotsky's Concert in NII", "Dressing Room", "Triumph Square", etc.
